Animal-Based Proteins

The foods that have the most protein per gram are:

turkey

fish (salmon, shrimp)

Plant-Based Proteins

Plant Based Proteins have significantly less protein per ounce. Here are some higher plant-based proteins:

 

cottage cheese & nonfat Greek yogurt

tofu

beans
