FRITTELLE DOLCI SWEET PUFFY LITTLE CLOUDS


 RECIPE

Serves: 4–6 Preparation time: 20 minutes Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • 10 g baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add the eggs and milk gradually, stirring until you obtain a smooth, lump-free batter.
  3. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan to 175–180°C (350–355°F).
  5. Using a spoon, drop small portions of batter into the hot oil.
  6. Fry until golden brown, turning them for even cooking.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.


CHEF TIP

  • For extra flavor, add vanilla extract or lemon zest to the batter.
  • Serve warm with chocolate sauce, honey, or jam.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan to keep the oil temperature stable.
