FRITTELLE DOLCI SWEET PUFFY LITTLE CLOUDS
RECIPE
Serves: 4–6 Preparation time: 20 minutes Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 50 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 250 ml milk
- 10 g baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
DIRECTIONS
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Add the eggs and milk gradually, stirring until you obtain a smooth, lump-free batter.
- Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan to 175–180°C (350–355°F).
- Using a spoon, drop small portions of batter into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown, turning them for even cooking.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
CHEF TIP
- For extra flavor, add vanilla extract or lemon zest to the batter.
- Serve warm with chocolate sauce, honey, or jam.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan to keep the oil temperature stable.
